Welcome to SLCC Austria, an amalgamation of Sri Lankans from diverse backgrounds. We are the true representation of a diverse, multicultural, and united Sri Lanka here in Austria, serving the community for over 24 years, going beyond just being a sports club.
Our members are Sri Lankans living all across Austria, and while the club is active nationwide, we are based in and operate from the capital, Vienna.

President’s Message
It is with great honor and immense pride that I serve as the President of the Sri Lanka Cricket Club (SLCC) for the 2025–2026 term. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to lead this remarkable club and build upon the legacy created by those who came before us. With a proud and distinguished history, SLCC has grown to become one of the leading Sri Lankan sports clubs in Austria and has proudly served as a vibrant community hub for more than two decades. Our greatest strength lies in our people-the lasting friendships we have built, the dedication of our members, and the diverse experiences each individual brings, enriching the culture and spirit of our club.
As the saying goes, “Storms make trees take deeper roots.” This perfectly reflects the journey of our club. Through challenges and changing times, SLCC has remained resilient, standing strong for decades while preserving the sport we love and serving the Sri Lankan community in Austria with unwavering commitment. As we look ahead, our mission remains clear: to continue providing a welcoming home for every Sri Lankan living in Austria, fostering friendship, sportsmanship, and a strong sense of belonging. Together, we will honor our traditions, embrace new opportunities, and inspire the next generation to carry our values forward.

Evolution of Sri Lanka Cricket Club in Austria
Since its establishment in 2002, SLCC Austria has grown into a cornerstone for Sri Lankans across the country, hosting tournaments, cultural programs, and participating in Austrian Cricket Leagues organised by the Austrian Cricket Association under ICC’s supervision. Over the years, SLCC has become a primary hub for celebrating our Sri Lankan heritage and keeping the spirit of the game alive for all ages.
